Customer Reviews: Very few books which both experts and beginners benefit January 21, 2010 T.J.G I am math professor and I have been struggling for years in my teaching.
After reading books and talking with great teachers,
it seems to me that for being a good teacher in practical sense
(getting students involved in the materials, getting
a good evaluation from students, etc)
many technical skills are more important than
general theories in education.
This book presents such many nice techniques.
Indeed, I applied few of them for my classes, and
the result was awesome, the atmosphere became much better,
and the students activity was drastically improved.
This book also includes a success story of an institute
especially in math education.
Overall, I recommend this book strongly to
anyone if you are interested to orient your institute
towards educations or you wish to improve your teaching.
I think the methods introduced in this book applies
not only for math but for most of the subjects taught in college science.
